Wet room

Has anyone had a bathroom converted to a shower only ,by council or housing association,please I have applied for one but it's taking a long time to get anywhere with it
How long did it take from start to finish ,had to have an assessment by a occupational therapist ,but got referred by my Dr
My sister's friend applied for one a before me and already had it done ,have to say though she was with a different authority
I seem to be getting nowhere,from people saying they no nothing. About when I enquire ,to someone coming with floor samples
