Call from the "British Board of Agrément"

I got a number witheld, unsolicited call from someone claiming to be from the above official (and genuine) body. It was regarding loft insulation. It is a SCAM. The BBE do not call Private households. The man carried on about new regulations. If you get such a call, do not interact. Do not give any information. Of course, that does not mean you can't tell them to F O in your favourite way!

I have reported the call to the BBA (as they request on their website).

My BIL had one, it is a scam tell them politely to go away

I may be paranoid but I think you should say as little as possible in case they record you and use the recording for voice recognition.

More likely to use it for Voice Cloning I should think. I could end up doing "this train will be calling at..." announcements!
