The Royals chat!

I’m just interested watching them today chat to lines of dozens of people do they say something different to each person? It’s amazing they find something to ask each person.
Has anyone been in a line waiting to meet a Royal? What did they ask? I’m just nosy I suppose.

Prince Edward asked my FiL "have you come far?"
Not sure if he then wanted to engage in the discussion that followed. Journeys were FiL's favourite subject. grin
