Sticking tongue out in photos.

It is such a tedious habit isn’t it! They probably think it’s frightfully funny…..wrong!

Does anybody over the age of 7 do that?

I repeatedly ask my eleven year old granddaughter this question, never had a satisfactory answer though.

My dog does it.
It means hurry and get on with the photo!

I've no idea what it means but it seems to becoming rather popular.

I have seen photos of pop stars (not called that now I suppose) posing with their tongues out quite a lot.

Not sure what it's all about, but it is quite a popular thing for girls to do.

I find it rude and very immature when adults and teenagers do that.

I think it’s a generation thing, the young think it’s fun and some older folk don’t.

i think it has got indecent connotations that young children may not, probably not be aware of.
they see the big girls doing it, and think that's the thing to do, without understanding the porn reference.

Photographers poke there tongues out at the Royal children to get a response! that has been explained in the press. The children are not rude for copying. It was done to Harry as a small boy in the car with Diana...

To me, it looks rude. It seems to be some sort of joke when they do it in photos, but I don't know what they mean by it. Can anyone tell me why they do it and what it means?

Oh my goodness Caleo you've struck a chord. I HATE this new fad with tongue poked out for a photograph. My grandchildren think it very 'clever' despite me asking them not too. I just delete the photo straight away. I find it rude.

Horrible. It's rude when children do it and looks vulgar when adults do it.
