We don’t watch all that much but I certainly wouldn’t want to get rid of ours. There’s often very interesting stuff on BBC2 and 4 - last night we were watching that prog. about the village of Kibworth, fascinating, and another dh was keen to see on catch-up about the ‘fathers’ of modern chemistry. I did find that v interesting too, though should add that I’m also a fan of Vera, Shetland, etc., and do like the Repair Shop, when I remember to watch it.
We now also have Netflix and have found some good stuff there - currently absorbed in Marseille - a French (subtitled) drama series about politics and very dodgy goings on in that city, and featuring a very portly Gerard Depardieu.
Forgotten, What Remains, and the whole of Last Tango In Halifax are other series we’ve really enjoyed on catch-up or Netflix.
