Did anyone see the oldest man and oldest woman in the UK on the lunchtime news. Unbelievably they are both 112 today. It brought a tear to my eye to see these two amazing people.
The changes they have seen in their lifetimes have been immense.
I wish them both a very Happy Birthday.

There’s a lovely article on the BBC about Mr Weighton. Strangely, it doesn’t mention my own son’s birth on the same day, in the 1970’s! grin

Amazing age. As someone once said about my Mum when she was only in hers 80's "and he can still talk and everything!"
