Caroline Flack Dead

Very sad I cannot believe it.

Don’t know anything about her as never watched Love Island. But 41y and dead is incredibly sad.

I think she was due to go to court for assault ? I remember something in the newspaper or news about it. It is sad, so young. We don't know what was going on in her mind.

Another young life cut short too soon. Dont think cause of death has been reported yet ?

Always sorry to read when someone youngish (40) dies before their time. I remember her from "Strictly". There has been some controversy and issues with her relationships lately.

An untimely death, such a shame.

Really shocked by news of her death.So sad.

I have never watched Love Island and didn't really know who she was until I started seeing posts on social media and articles in the press. There were some absolutely horrible articles and even worse tweets. Whatever the rights and wrongs, it appears this woman has been driven to her death by them.

I think the press, social media and maybe the rest of us need to take a good hard look at ourselves. So many of us revel at the thought of someone being knocked of their pedestal without thinking of the terrible hurt and harm it causes. I am as guilty as anyone.

Didn’t really know much about her but terribly sad she felt she had to take her own life.

Perhaps the fact that yesterday was Valentine’s Day might have been a trigger?

Very sad to hear this, although I never watched Love Island. She just seemed normally to be a happy go lucky girl.

I know she'd had problems recently and the media had been very cruel.

Such a shame she felt she had no other choice. I feel for her family.

Aww, she took her own life, lawyer has said. Bless her.

She posted photos of herself and her dog on Twitter yesterday and her boyfriend sent her a valentines message. She was accused of beating up her boyfriend and her trial was due to start in March. Her boyfriend didnt want her prosecuted and has stayed in touch with her.
She was advised to keep off social media.
It does on the face of it appear she has committed suicide . So dreadful

I never saw her on tv and only knew her name as a tv celeb. Very sad that this poor woman took her own life. Terrible time for those who loved her.

Only knew her by name as never watched Love island or strictly but it’s always very sad that someone is in such a dark place as to lose the knowledge of the ones they are leaving behind

She actually won Strictly and was fabulous on there. She has taken her own life. Just tragic.

I thought so ticking, just checking it is the same person. I loved her on that programme, seemed genuine. How absolutely awful.

Apparently it's the third suicide by people who have appeared on Love Island.

What a sad way to go. I’ve heard about her just from the younger ones at work and I know that’ll be the whole conversation Monday when I go in. All I can think off is how tormented she must of been and our press and social media need to take some responsibility.
