Never liked Morcambe and Wise, not sure why they used to get so much TV time.

I m with you harrigran I didn’t dislike them but never found them particularly funny and could never understand the amount of popularity but then I don’t find a lot of comedians funny I suppose it’s my sense of humour that is askew
I could never abide Charlie Drake and can’t stand Keith Lemon but a lot of people think they’re wonderful

A couple of programmes on tv last night, still gloriously funny, and had three generations roaring with laughter. I love Eric and Ernie!

I agree Rufus. There's never been anyone funnier since they departed.

They remind me so much of family time with my Mum & Dad - we loved them. I still enjoy them.

BlueBelle; It seems you don't have a sense of humour in the first place to go askew! What on earth motivates people to put in useless negative comments?
It was the same back when the Soccer World Cup was on. "I can't bear watching football! Hate it!", but that didn't stop them criticizing, ranting! We used to call them "killjoys" .

I agree with Rufus. They were not only funny but somehow lovable too. I miss them.

Loved Morecambe and Wise with their innocent, silly fun,
looked up the Boom oo sketch Rufus, still found it funny.
My favourite modern comedians are Peter Kay and Michael McIntyre but I'm in agreement with some who don't like Keith Lemmon, I find him very creepy.

Exactly Henetha- they were lovable unlike so many of our 'comedians' today.

A harshness has crept into comedy, Jane, sadly.
