Founder of White Helmets found dead in Instanbul

James Le Mesurier has been found dead, apparently 'fell' from his balcony.

Poor man had been subject to smear campaigns and accusations, mainly by the Russians.

Politics is a dirty business.

Very sad loss. I doubt they will ever get to the bottom of what happened.

I feel for his wife.
Bad enough for your partner to accidentally fall to their death, but can you imagine how awful it would be to guess/know the truth and never be able to confirm it?

We don't know the half of what goes on really do we?

This is probably a silly question but does any one know if he was any relation to the actor John ( husband of Hatty Jaques)?

Is there any way the uk delivers some kind of retribution for acts like these do you think?
It does seem as if the Russians are enjoying a hay day against us atm! (Poisonings etc.)
Do they target the USA in the same way?
I should bone up on foreign politics more, but brexit is enough for me usually grin
