I see the thread has reached over 1000 messages, this says such a lot doesn’t it. I wanted to share some happy news with you all, regarding my situation, we have had an awful year as I’d discussed previously, but on Monday my other half of 20 years proposed out of the blue and I said yes, so we get married in a few weeks time!

Brilliant news. It reminds me of TV's 63Up programme where a couple had been engaged for 25 years and no sign of anything further as yet-----I thought it was so funny.
