Don't tell the bride!

OK, this is a TV program, which I just caught the end of. Men are given a budge and left to organise a wedding. In the last few minutes the lucky couple were interviewed, at home after the show. They were talking about how the bride does everything around the house. The groom said, 'well my mum used to do everything and now you're like my mum!' He was quite happy about the situation. Seriously cringeworthy. Personally I would have taken him back to mum and left them to it.

Both of my son's would get short shrift from me never mind from their wives if they came out with a comment like that,they have both been brought up to help around the house and to share the chores,in fact one son can keep house far better than his wife but they both get along fine.
