Time travel back to 2011

I have been scanning the GN Forums subject lists searching for some advice that had been previously posted on GN a few months ago under 'Gardening'

At the bottom of the subject list there are four boxes First Previous Next Last
As the post was from a few months ago I clicked on last.

Woosh I was transported back to 2011!

What is apparent the 2011 problems and discussions are much the same as 2019 problems and discussions
It is however a Brexit Free Zonegrin

Also the posters are smaller in number of course.
But there are a few familiar names and sadly some who are no longer with us.

I wonder if people were more able to focus on the simple pleasures of life before the whole reality of the Tory polices were recognised?

It seems like everyone is now being effected not just those of us who where initially affected by the systemic policies of conscious cruelty

PS. I am a new user and admit that I didn't check out the thread (maybe I'll connect with you there soon ?) but it is my general sense of what's happening right now

One of the mistakes that the general public make is thinking that older people take no interest in current affairs. Anyone reading this site will know that is simply not true.
