Good morning Mick and all. 4 degrees here in the Scottish Borders but not raining. Christmas fairs today.
Morning Mick, morning All. Seems very wet in our corner of Somerset. Sounds as if you need an umbrella mick. Little enthusiasm for it but the fridge is a bit Mother Hubbard so must venture out for some veg and fruit. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.
Good morning all.
It is wet here. I am going to do Christmas browsing today at a street fair and may venture out in the dark for a concert as it is only in the next street. ?
White rabbits! Good morning from Malta where it is colder indoors than out. The forecast for the weekend is not great so I shall not be venturing very far.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning All.x
Dark damp and dreary in the NW so far as I can see.
Cornergran your description of " Mother Hubbard " could also describe my fridge and cupboards at the moment with having to stay in for the parcels men it's a case of rustling up a meal with what there is left. I hate this part !
Hope all is well with everyone.
Morning everyone.
It's dry and it's not windy here in Kent, too dark to say much else.
DH wont be home from London until early afternoon so a lazy day for me.
Have a good one people.
Morning all. North Leicestershire is forecast heavy rain today. If it stops, I shall go to the village lights switch on and street market.
This morning we are off to watch dgd1 in a play. She will never win an Oscar but absolutely loves it!
Good morning all, ???
No idea what it's like outside as curtains are still drawn, and I am not up yet!!
Oh well it's December and once GS has gone to,his Dads we shall decorate the house, not the main tree though as we have a real one in the lounge, GS and Husband will go and buy one in about 10 days time. ?????
Good morning everyone from a wet and dark south coast. I think we are forecast rain all morning.
I went on my WI Christmas lunch trip to a local FE college yesterday, which was really lovely and very good value. We had a coach there and back so wine was taken by those who wished. (Not me - innards don't allow!) Much laughter and fun ensued!
This evening is the choir concert, which we have been working towards since September. I felt more oprimistic about it after the final rehearsal on Wednesday evening and just hope we reach that standard again tonight. Fingers crossed
Hope the day is a good one for us all.
optimistic NOT oprimistic. Oh for an edit button!
Good morning Mick and all.
It's 4° here also in Glasgow, but not Im complaining, it's dry. We were soaked yesterday in Edinburgh at the Christmas market, but had a lovely day.
My cough is back with a vengeance after yesterday, been coughing all night, so an easy day, I hope.
Old Mother Hubbard lives here too, so I shall have to venture out.
It's DILs fortieth birthday weekend , I'm off out early to see her before she leaves for her surprise birthday weekend away.
Have a good day, everyone.
Greetings from a dreich Aberdeenshire. The crows are up, I'm not...it's like something out of Hitchcock's 'Birds'. Am going in to Aberdeen this a.m. to buy knickers from Santa...I do this for him every year!
Hope everyone's various ailments are improving/better.
Good morning,
A grey looking morning here, though not raining for now.
Well, December is here! I'll be putting up the advent wreath and candles soon. ( Once I've finished breakfast). Main decorations in another week or so.
Not a lot planned today - a see what comes up kind of day, I think. ?
Hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning December from a wet Colchester.
Supermarket and ironing this morning and spending the afternoon at DDs.
I didn't know Santa sold knickers, oldgaijin.....
Good morning from a grey, damp East Northants. Had a full day out shopping with granddaughter yesterday and my back is really suffering this morning. So not much planned for today unless the painkillers work. I would usually have been dressing the Christmas tree today but the decorations are in the shed, which means going up and down 10 high steps. So that will have to wait a bit longer. Hope it's a good day for everyone.
Good morning Mick, Annie and everyone, from a damp and cold Birmingham. I’m waiting for my morning cuppa at my partner’s house. We’re going to a Christmas Fayre at the place where he goes for his Parkinson’s group, then I have Tai Chi . Nothing planned for later, except perhaps a nice evening reading and listening to music. ( a bit of Hygge!)
Good morning all, very wet here in Northampton, but forecast says it should be dry by the time I get to the rugby this afternoon, thank goodness. I think it will be a day for thermal leggings and vest! May well have something warming in the hip flask tucked into my pocket! Have got the hotpot out of the freezer ready to come home to after the match.
Slept in this morning and cats were getting quite concerned that their breakfast was late.
Hope it's a nice day for all.
Good morning, grey sky and pavement is damp but not actually raining. We had some torrential showers yesterday evening, so hard I thought it was hail.
More cupboard tidying today before settling down with the newspaper.
December already
Morning all , dropping the "good" as it is rubbish out there .
Bad night sleepwise , then the parcel man ( ?boy ?) was banging the door at silly o' clock . "Sign here " says he , then couldn't read it .... " what's your wee name " says he "your lucky I can see to write "says I , off he goes chuckling grrrrrr
Morning to everyone, later this morning but feel as if Ive caught up on some sleep from the night before. It's at least dry here in Fife today lets hope it stays that way. Lots of Christmas festivities taking place now so keep fingers crossed the weather doesn't ruin it for all the hard workers. Not a lot planned but will be venturing out. Can't believe it's Saturday once again. Have a good day, to those feeling under the weather take care.
Good Morning from a cold and wet Black Country.
Not long up, other half still in bed! Not much planned for today, we fancied trip to Leamington Spa, but the weather doesn't look too good.
May go with DD and DGS's to Merry Hell Hill shopping centre later!
Then some food shopping at some point today.
Have a good day everyone.
Morning Mick, Annie to come and all others. My goodness Marydoll you don't do things by half, do you. You must take care of that hacking cough. ( you do know it's nearly Christmas, don't you
) ? Sorry to nag.
Went to our volunteers party get together last night, and although not everyone could be there, had a great time.
It's wet and miserable here, but must do some shopping later. Like others, my cupboards are pretty bare.
Have a good day one and all.
Good morning Auntyflo and all
Missing younger daughter , the two days with her was lovely though.
Hope everyone has a good day x
A late good morning from the NE coast . I didn’t wake until almost 9am ( unheard of ).
I can’t believe it’s December already and I’ve barely started any Christmas shopping. Oh dear could we not postpone it for a month or so. Have s good Saturday everyone .
