After "Brave the Shave"......... ..

I think a lot of people who have had longer hair for years would like to try shorter styles but are worried about how it will look, most find it suits them when they are brave enough to make the change. I have a friend who had her's cut a couple years ago, went from below shoulder length to fairly short and she's never regretted it and it knocked years off her face.

I had mine cut quite short a few months back and it does feel so much better. Stay with it a while.

Perhaps you could experiment with colour.

I went from long to very short a couple of months ago. My ponytail was 14" long when it was cut of. I wish I had done it years ago, the only problem I had g it was dead straight, short it seems to have developed curl! First thing in the morning it looks like a real mess but nothing a bit of product and a brush cant solve.

Ah - but who wants to arse about with "product"?

Well the problem is if I leave it it sticks out at all angles! As for "product" its only styling mousse or sometimes plain water! I just need something to flatten it down a bit. I have to say washing my hair is so much easier now (and cheaper less shampoo and conditioner!) and I leave it to dry on its own, before brushing it through and detangling took ages.

Oh phoenix I would love to have hair that I could wash and go with. Two problems. Firstly I am not one of natures natural beauties and need hair to cover up a lot! ? Secondly I have very thick hair that does exactly what it wants (you might have cow licks, I have crop circles ?).
My hair is neither straight nor curly but more of the dry frizzy variety in a brown colour (you might have gathered from this that I am not a 'looker'). The only saving grace is that at nearly 70 I have very few grey hairs and lots of different gold and red shades in my hair. In fact the most compliments I get are from people looking at the back of my head ?
