Hopeless bra size

No. Always thought bras must be designed by men.

If you measure under the bust whatever that is is your bust size. Then the difference between that and the measurement around the boobs denotes the cup size....bigger the difference bigger the cup size.
Do not know who you are going to but they are getting it wrong.

Where is the best place to get your bra fitted properly. I have never had a proper fitting bra being broad around the back but small boobs ??‍♀️

My most successful fitting has been with a small independent shop locally, previously a Bravissimo fitting was ok although it does depend on the actual staff member. Not sure what to do about small boobs apart from feel jealous!

I think John Lewis offer a measuring/fitting service although I have never tried it.
If you want the best then it's Rigby and Peller but they are very expensive.

Luckygirl - you are not a freak. I recently bought 3 bras in the same style online from M and S. Have always bought from them. The size was meant to be 38B. Like you I have small boobs and a broad back. I laid the bras out and measured the length along the band and there was a difference of up to 3 inches between them.
One of the bras had such large cups that I looked as if I had a pair of melons strapped on, with very little filling!! I am fed up of looking for bras right now. I have a drawer full that I have hardly worn, which is such a waste of money. My SIL (72)very often goes braless, but given the pull on gravity, it's not a flattering look.

Rigby & Peller - but they are expensive.

I would use Rigby and Peller if only I was up to getting there, but I’m not. My DIL says they are worth the money if you can manage it. Like others here I have never had a properly fitting bra.

I always wore a 36C. I went for a fitting at Bravissimo and they said I was a 32F! They were right. The bras fit perfectly and my clothes look better on me.

Thanks all - and for your pm Jalima - I went to M&S this morning and came away with a 40B. It is not too bad. One style in that size was uncomfortable; but a softer style ion the same size seemed better so I went for that.
I am still searching for the perfect one - maybe one day!

I am always searching for a comfortable bra and the one I am wearing now is NOT IT!!
And as soon as I have finished typing this it is coming off.........

Would a 42A be better, LuckyGirl?
