Took DGS (2) to a “little kids’”(under 5s) playground today and was not best amused at bigger primary age children rampaging around while Mums/Dads sat and chatted (ignoring them mostly)
Then we went to a lovely cafe by the market which has a soft play corner (again, geared to tinies) and again a couple of “bully boys”in school shorts/trousers and white shirts (so clearly uniform) monopolised the toys and threw things around.
Flynn was pretty cool about it but I wasn’t
I know there are some lovely patient souls among you who would smile and say “Aah, children, how sweet “ but I just wanted to give them a Paddington style hard look.
Relieved when their chatting mums took them home!
I adore my own grand children but will not condone bad or bullying behaviour and while I do really like most children, bad behaviour brings out the Secondary teacher in me.
(In case anybody is tutting, I did keep my lip zipped, but thought plenty. )
Alphalock - like wordle but harder!
Quik question (daughter w new baby)
Things that (sometimes unreasonably) get on your nerves...hopefully lighthearted
