Watched a lady being interviewed on TV recently who was talking about something interesting (to me anyway)
Problem is I can't remember what she said because I was almost hypnotised by looking at spectacular constructions hanging from each ear. A structural engineer's masterpieces! They hung down to her shoulders; nearly anyway.
Why? What purpose did they serve? Her hands were all over the place too as further distraction, as if she was planning to throttle her interviewer. 
Perhaps some fashionistas might like to enlighten me, but no rush. I'm still recovering from being mawled over "dowdy"
