Lego advertising

I bought a 10p bag in Sainsbury's today. Didn't realise what was on it until I got it home, just thought it was a bit gaudy.

I don't like it at all, it's advertising Lego.
Why should I pay to advertise Lego?

I find I don't want to use it again.....maybe they might change it for two 5p ones?

I don't mind advertising Sainsbury's, it's got their stuff in it.
I go to other supermarkets too and use their bags.
I just feel this is a bit OTT.

I think they should cost a £1 and have a picture showing the pollution they cause. What will it take for people to bring their own bag.

Picture of pollution - good. But they won't, will they?

Uh-oh. I've just had another look at this bag and it doesn't say it's a 'bag for life' - i.e. they will replace it if it's worn out.

My last one did. Think I will take it back!

I did take it back. No questions, so I told them why anyway. No comments, got my 10p back.....

I just feel I was made to advertise something without permission!

I can’t believe you would take.it back for 10p !
If you feel strongly about it turn it inside out or use it as a bin bag but taking it back for 10p I find laughable

I believe all plastic bags have now gone up to 10p so no it wouldn’t be a bag for life just an ordinary plastic carrier

Bags for life in M & S have gone up to 15 pence as of 1/9.

The reason they are called 'bags for life' is that you are supposed to take them back to the supermarket when they split, they should give you a replacement one and recycle the old one into more bags.
That's what I understood, anyway.

We went to Sainsbury's today too and were given packs of Lego collector cards - presumably we are now meant to buy a book to stick them in and keep spending to get more cards and fill the book.

Why should I pay to advertise Lego?
I have been saying that for years about t shirts, trainers etc with a firm's name emblazoned across them!

"Look, I'm advertising Gap, Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Disney, Coca Cola etc etc! Clever me, and I paid for the privilege"
hmm

I took it back to make a point, BB!
