Morning Mick, Morning All. Grey start in our corner of Somerset. No sun forecast for us sadly. Catch up and sorting day today. Not exciting but has to be done. Enjoy your outing Mick. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

It's grey here too on the south coast but warmer and the sun is promised for later on, so not a bad day in store.

DH and his cycling buddy are off to Brighton on their bikes today - coming back by train though. It means another quiet pottering day for me, once I have done the ironing.

I've had a bad start to the day, couldn't get into GN, ?
We have had to change our plans for today.
Our wee granddaughter was unwell yesterday and can't go to nursery today, so gran and papa to the rescue. We wouldn't have it any other way. She is off on holiday on Friday, so fingers crossed she picks up.
I'm a little bit tired and wheezy to say the least and still suffering a wee bit from the side effects of my new medication. Where do we grans get our energy reserves from?
The builders are coming to finish off today, hopefully! Then of course they will want paid! ? Enjoy your day everyone.
We can then get on with our busy lives.

So grey over Norfolk this morning that I have the lights on in the garden room. The heating has come on too. Come back summer, just for a little longer - please!

The visiting granddogs woke me just after five. I can’t believe they get up this early in their own home! Still no alarm needed to go and pick up DGD from other DD’s. She’s with us now until the start of term with a couple of sleepovers.

Taking a friend to a NT garden today. She is very unsteady on her feet so I will have to keep a close hold on her. I am going to park in the disabled car park and persuade the NT staff that my friend cannot walk from the main car park so that is why I am parking there. I shall put on my assertive face. ?

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dry but grey in South Yorkshire today. Ironing and domestics today. Might try and fit in a swim later. We had a good walk yesterday but any calories I might have burned off were negated by the half pint of Guinness I drank at the halfway mark! Have a good day folks.

Morning all, bit of a lie in this morning after my early start yesterday.It looks grey and miserable outside this morning, but i am off to see my oldest friend this morning. IT will be pots of tea and home made scones with plenty of laughs and maybe a few tears as we chat about the old days and things going on in our lives right now. What ever you are doing have a great day everyone.

Had a restless night last night, so am a bit wooly headed this morning.

Off to hospital for a follow up visit later, then lunch out to sweeten the pill. We could do with some new pillows, but if I lay down to test drive, I may not want to get up again.

It's a bit grey here, but hoping it will brighten up, it's so much nicer being out with the sun shining.

Weather dry but grey as it has generally been all weekend.

Have not had a good one but the rest has been more than acceptable.

Sorry hearing those after effects of the new medication lingers on Marydoll ......but I bet you have a secret reserve of energy to cope with all that is expected of you!
Especially that little bit of nursing required!

DD came home yesterday evening, she cannot do anything, so I have my nurses hat on!! Lots of pain relief and antibiotics. GS cannot understand why he cannot have Mummy cuddles or sit on her lap. He has gone out for the day with his Auntie so I can concentrate on DD and catching up with a few jobs.

Good Morning Everyone, My daughter and our first grandchild is arriving from San Francisco tomorrow so nothing can mire my joy and excitement today - not even the grey clouds or rain. I do hope the weather picks up though for her stay. Sooooo excited!!!!!!

Still mostly grey and cloudy here, but not cold. Been out to try a new tea shop with my friend. New to us, that is, it's been open a year or so, and we've been meaning to try it for ages and eventually did today. It was lovely - we'll definitely go again. It's walking distance, too, on a fine day like today, so we feel quite virtuous, having burned off the calories on our walk back home! (About 1 and a half miles). ??
How exciting for you, Newatthis. I hope you have a lovely time with your DD and DGC when they arrive tomorrow. Keep us up to date. ?
