Good Morning Everyone,
Its another grey start here in Brackley this morning, it will be a usual day for me today.
Mick
Good morning, Michael and all GNs. I watched the sun come up this morning, having got up at silly o’clock. We shall have a nice day by the look of things in South Yorkshire. Gardening today for me, I think. I have neglected it for too long. I need something to take my mind off things! Have a good day, folks.
Morning *Mick, gd. Morning all.
North Leicestershire is fairly bright this morning. A pootling and faffing day for me today.
Sorry you are still worried gd.
Good morning – although where I am in New Zealand it is evening. We have had endless downpours of rain recently but today has been bright and sunny and, for the end of winter, it has been relatively warm. I am sorry to admit that I haven't done anything very productive today, just enjoyed a bit of relaxation. That's okay.
Good morning Mick and all the early risers.
It's coming down in buckets this morning in Glasgow. We have workmen coming early, as I'm going to spend the day in the hospital day ward and we need to let the in.
I'm not looking forward to it, but I'm having a new treatment, and I have to be monitored, as I often have an unpleasant reaction to new medication.
I would rather be in among all the chaos of the building work.
Greyduster, just try and have an easy day today, I'm sorry you are stilly worrying.
Good Morning all and good evening absent
Dull and grey here again in the Black Country, but still very warm.
Yesterday, I had a pleasant afternoon sitting in my friends garden, chatting and putting the world to rights! We have known each other since we were 18 and I now live 10 minutes walk away from her. She receives her SP in November ( I had mine in March even though I am only 2 months older) . So we are going out for lunch to celebrate in November
Today I have a Dentist appointment, then spend the afternoon with Mum as she lives near my Dentist.
I hope your worries are resolved soon Greyduster
Have a good day everyone
Marydoll looks like we posted at the same time.
Just to say hope all goes well for you today
Morning Mick and everyone. Back from our short break on the Isle of Wight - my GN competition prize and most enjoyable!
It's an overcast start to the day here on the south coast but is set to brighten up later. Need a trip to the library to pick up some books I ordered and it's choir this evening.
Sorry you are troubled Grey - hope the gardening helps put things into some sort of perspective.
Good luck with the new treatment Marydoll. I hope it helps and is not too uncomfortable for you.
Pootling and faffing sounds like something I indulge in kitty - it might prove interesting or on the other hand.....
Hope the day proves to be a good one for us all.
Morning NannyJan!
Morning everyone, not nice here today in NE Fife, had lots of rain and think we are in for some more. Marydoll, I feel for you it's never pleasant having to go into hospital for whatever reason but better being safe than sorry. Just try and think of nice things whilst you are there. We have DGS today so another chatty day. Think we shall try playgroup today. Hope everyone has a nice day and just try and take your minds of all the not so nice things. It will get better I'm sure.
Morning All
Grand dogs had me up at 5.30 this morning to an incredibly vibrant apricot sky. I understand this will be our last hot summers day for a while.
We got back yesterday from a few days with friends camping (well caravaning) at Greetham near Rutland water. It would have been a wonderful time if not for the church clock bell very close to our allocated pitch. Too loud. Too all night! Now have DD1’s two dogs for a couple of weeks so no time to catch up on sleep yet.
for Greyduster and more
for Marydoll and maybe some virtual
as it can’t do any harm.
Good evening Absent!
Morning Mick and All.
Grey and warm inSouth Bucks.
Do hope your day in hospital goes well Marydoll. Can you take your IPad with you so that you can pass the time with your GN pals?
Thinking of you Greyduster I only know too well how draining it can be with constant family worries. Take care.
I think I too will be pootling and faffing Kitty but I will be attempting to look as if I am doing something productive as DH is really busy at present. What I really want to do is watch the last episode of a series I am watching on BBC IPlayer but it seems so decadent to do that in the morning.
Isn’t lovely NannyJan to still have friends from your youth?
Good morning from an overcast NE.
My hairdresser is coming this morning and DH sometimes meets his old work colleagues on a Wednesday afternoon so TV catch up for me.
Yesterday turned into a warm and pleasant day.
Good Morning Gagagran & NanKate
It is lovely yes to have a friend from my youth. Although we had periods when our contact was minimal, it is great that we can see quite a lot of each other now we are living so close together.
Morning Mick, morning All. Grey and overcast in our corner of Somerset. Apparently it’s warm, can’t help but wish there was some brightness. Granny duties today, hope to get to the beach, whatever we do the family time is wonderful. Hope Wednesday is kind to everyone.
Good morning everyone. Not a bad start here on the NE coast .
Nothing worth reporting today, just work. Had a lovely trip to the library with the children yesterday followed by a rare lunch treat at McDonalds. Had to laugh when the youngest piped up “I really enjoyed that grandma, but I couldn’t eat it very often” (me neither) .
I will be thinking about you MaryDoll hope it goes well for you today. I find gardening perfect for taking your mind of other things Greyduster hope it works for you.
Have a good Wednesday everyone.
Morning all.
Another dull start in Kent. Yesterday turned into a beautiful day after about 11 am. Hmmm.
Thinking of Marydoll and Gd
Good morning from a grey skied Hayling Island. Heading to France now.
Good Morning to you all.
A murky morning which always seems to co incide with the main shopping day!
Having an enforced period of yet more rest so thank goodness for GN`s!
Feeling for you Marydoll knowing full well how long and draining these days can be,sending an uplifting bunch of
GreyD..........just hoping your worries will gently fade away.
Best wishes to you all whether pootling or faffing or anything in between........have a good day!
You do get about Pittcity!
Good morning everybody. Grey skies here but the forecast is for more warm, probably like yesterday.
Last day of my Nancy Mitford course and then lunch in an Italian restaurant with friends from the course.
To those with worries, like greyduster I hope you achieve some clarity, and good luck to Marydoll with the treatment. Wishing you all a pleasant day!
Morning from a very wet Co Armagh , opened the blinds earlier , fell back in bed , could do with a cuppa so better stir !
Good morning all. As Maw says it’s overcast in N. Bucks but will hopefully improve .
Yoga this morning. Quick trip to a nearby village to pay deposits for a craft day. Some baking ready for the weekend.
Hope all with problems soon have them resolved.
Good morning all and Auntyflo x
Greyduster, I hope the gardening brings you some peace x
Marydoll, good luck x
Same for me as usual, going nowhere, doing nothing
