Good Morning Everyone,
Its bright sunny start here in Brackley this morning, have you noticed the nights are drawing in.
Have to go to outpatients at Horton in Banbury to the Glaucoma Monitoring Unit which to me seems like a eye check and then if need be refried to a specialist at a later date , hopefully it will be a basic check with a nurse or technician, then reappoint .
Mick

Good morning Mick and all who follow. Dry, but cool here in Glasgow.
DH is off out to play golf, so I have been left to deal with the building work. It mainly involves supplying gallons of tea and multiple plates of cake.?
I'm waiting in for the estimator to come and measure the worktop beside the sink. He was due to come on Friday, as I knew the tiler would not be working in that room.
However, it may be a bit of a logistical nightmare, as the floor is going down today.?

I hope those who have been poorly find some improvement and those wrestling with family problems, find some peace?

Enjoy your Monday everyone.

Good luck with your appointment, Mick.

Good morning Mick, morning all

There are grey clouds with pink streaks in the sky over north Leicestershire this morning.

We are taking DH's silly car for a service this morning and then a trip to Aldi!

I hope your appointment goes well Mick.

Good morning Mick and everyone to follow. The sun is up early in Brackley Mick, good luck with your appointment. Very grey in Lancashire.
Reading group meeting for me today, I always enjoy it.
Hope you all have a good day.

Morning Mick Mary Kitty Nana and All.

A very warm feel to the morning in South Bucks.

Well Mary I won’t pop in for a cuppa at yours it sounds a bit crowded. Glad you have survived the family invasion Kitty. Keep us up to speed Mick with your visit today. I regularly have my eyes checked too.

Off to Keep Fit today.

Good Morning from a dull but warm Black Country. Getting up at 6.45pm I now have to put the lights on!

It is DGD's birthday 10th birthday today, she is such a lovely girl, very polite and generous. So off this morning with presents and card, she had a sleepover with friends on Saturday

Good luck with the appointment Mick and I hope your day is not too fraught Marydoll

ninathenana Mon 20-Aug-18 07:09:03

Morning all.
It's dull and muggy in Kent, with not a leaf moving. We had the fan on last night for the first time in ages.
Good luck Mick

Morning Mick. Morning All. Grey and damp in our corner of Somerset. Frustrating as yesterday’s weather forecast promised a dry day and we (well, Mr C and his supervisor) have a garden project underway. Oh well, tomorrow may be better. Hope Monday is kind to everyone.

Good Morning all, cloudy and bit cool here today in NE Fife, not sure if it will brighten up. Fist day for a while we have no commitments for anyone apart from ourselves. So comforting, hope that doesn't sound selfish. Car going into garage for services. MOT and new timing belt, heavy bill I think. Going to enjoy day in house catching up at my own pace. Yes nights are drawing in Mick and we've not been our holidays yet! Look after yourselves everyone and have a good Monday.

Good morning all from a sunny N Bucks with a few clouds.i have been changed with watering my neighbours pots ☹️ for the next two weeks so I wish it would rain. I don’t even remember to water my own pots and the hanging baskets are for the compost bin as soon as I can lift them down.
Doing a 3 morning course on Nancy Mitford starting today which I am sure I shall enjoy. There will be friends from last term’s Lit class so it is like the best bit of going back to school - catching up with your friends!
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

“Charged” not “changed”

Good morning everyone . The Fog horn has been sounding almost all night here on the NE coast although the fog seems to be lifting now and it’s brightening up. Quite a few big ships lying off too and they seem to be having a competition as to who’s got the loudest horn ! ? ?

I’m taking my time getting up and showered this morning as it’s the dreaded Mammogram at 10.15 then off to work.

I hate Monday’s (this one in particular).

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning to you all. A little brighter here in Buxton this morning. However I am leaving DD2 to continue her travels on her own for a few days until she joins all the family for the bank holiday weekend.

Good morning from a grey, humid Colchester. Warm and muggy again.
Book group meeting postponed as most are on holiday, so a quiet day here although we will discuss book online.

Auntieflo Mon 20-Aug-18 08:52:11

Good morning Mick, Annie and the 19 or so before me. I get later and later.
Gilly I will be thinking of you for your appointment. Good luck, 'All will be well'.

By the time I ahve typed this, there will be many more arriving, so have a good day one anad all.

Auntieflo Mon 20-Aug-18 08:53:36

There, I knew I should have checked before pressing 'post message'. Apologies for the typos, but I hope you know what I mean smile

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining in South Yorkshire this morning. I woke up in the night with awful ringing in my ears. We have all the kit for our new downstairs cloakroom being delivered today so that it can sit in the garage and wait for the plumber to get his backside in gear. This afternoon we are at DDs to be there when GS gets home from his first day at Summer School. May try and fit a walk in somewhere. Hope your eye appointment is straightforward, Mick and, yes, we are putting the light in earlier now. Happy birthday to your DGD, NannyJan! Have a good day, folks.

harrigran Mon 20-Aug-18 09:15:47

Good morning, dry and overcast here.
I slept late this morning because I was up during the night with bad stomach pains, a little easier now.
BIL visiting with his GS this afternoon, a school project that requires the expert knowledge of DH.
