Good Morning Saturday
(20 Posts)Morning Mick and everyone.
Glad you enjoyed your break Mick.
Blue sky start in Kent today. We haven't seen the sun till p.m. all this week.
Clearing the spare room today ready for decorating. What long lost treasures will we find I wonder.
Enjoy whatever you do.
Morning Mick, Nina and everyone. Nice to have you back Mick.
It's sunny again here on the outh coast and still no sign of any much-needed rain. It will turn up eventually.
DH is taking his new electric bike to the Isle of Wight today for his bike club ride round the island day. Hopefully he will find it easier than just pedal power - there are some steep hills on the island. I am having a quiet day and don't plan to do much apart from watching Serena v. Angelique this afternoon.
Enjoy your day folks!
There were 2 other coach trips at hotel besides ourselves one from Harlow and another Neath.
Enjoyed trips into Harrogate and the Dales going into Grassington , and down through Pateley Bridge back.
Mick
Morning Mick and All.
You sound as if you had a great holiday Mick. It’s good to have you back at the helm.
We saw a great Swing Band last night, down here in the New Forest.
Stocking up with some food today, then back to watch Rafa v Djokovic (left over from last night). Then Williams v Kerber. This evening will take fish and chips down to the quay to eat whilst watching the boats go in and out. Maybe even see your DH Gaga with his electric bike sail by. ?♀️
Good morning all. Sounds like you had a good time Mick.
Already bright in N. Bucks so another lovely day in view.
All sorts of preparations today. Some for going away on Monday and some for my birthday tomorrow.
Enjoy Saturday.
Good morning everybody and welcome back Mick
apologies for letting you down over my ( failure at ) starting the thread - of all the weeks to oversleep!
I expect it will be hot again today - I do love summer but can find no energy to stir myself into any sort of action.
Have a lovely day!
Good morning from the sunny NE.
A day of washing, cleaning GD's bedroom and bathroom ready for her return next week.
Everywhere will be busy today, the tall ships are leaving and it is Durham miners gala so stay at home day for us.
Morning All
Bright and sunny this morning in the north of Norfolk.
And a very dusty, grubby caravan sitting in the front garden in desperate need of a clean. I was quite ashamed of it on the site we were on, everyone else seemed to have sparkling outfits. A nice break, two house and gardens visited and a long time watching ospreys. Beautiful birds.
May go for a sail with DS and family today. If the wind decides to breath.
Good morning Mick and all. Lovely to see you back, Mick.
The sun is shining here in Glasgow, with blue skies.
Disturbed night, as there was a party ???somewhere and the noise was carrying across the park. I suspect someone's parents were away on holiday and they were taking advantage of having an " empty".?
No builders until Monday, so we are going to try and tidy up the garden a bit before they return.
Enjoy your Saturday, everyone.
Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Welcome back Mick. Glad we did you proud again! The sun is shining here today, but we had a lot of welcome rain yesterday evening. Pottering today, making a curry for tommorrow, and then a barbecue for two this evening! Have a happy day folks.
Good Morning all and welcome back Mick, you were missed!
No luck with the viewing............. and I am at that stage up and out one day the next I feel like death warmed up..........I am not having that and hope to feel far more a human later!!
The sun was very hot later again yesterday so I guess it does not like me anymore!!
Hope the weekend offers some treats for you all, along with the mundane!!That something called...........life!!
Good Morning everyone, start of the weekend! Lovely here in NE Fife just now, not sure how long he sun will last. Not sure what we are up to today but no doubt will find something to do. Enjoy your day all.
Good morning Mick and everyone. So glad you enjoyed your break Mick, I love Grassington, such a pretty little village.
As Harri said we have a lovely sunny morning here on the NE coast. It’s very busy and lots of road closures with the Tall Ships leaving so might just potter in the garden today. Will be watching the footy later.
Have a lovely Saturday everyone.
Morning all. Nice to see Mick back from his holidays. It's sunny and warm here already. Not much on, coffee with friends later, a mooch round the shops, then find the cases ready to pack for our holiday next week. Have a good day everybody.
Morning Mick, Morning All. Just stirring to a bright, sunny start over our corner of Somerset. Pretty tired after a family funeral yesterday. Your holiday sounds superb mick, pleased you enjoyed it. Sailing today sounds lovely nfk, ignore the caravan until it’s cooler. Dirt is protective
. Hope you feel livelier later panache, take it easy if you need to.. Off to the beach with a picnic later, that’s about it for today. Take care everyone, if you plan activity don’t overdo it.
Good morning everyone hope you all have a good day? It's sunny here again we haven't had any rain yet in Surrey and we're not predicted any over the weekend. It would be nice if it's sunny again on Monday as its my birthday. All the family ( 2 daughters, SIL, and 2 granddaughters coming a bit later for brunch and then we are meeting friends and all going to the local fete which is usually very good and has lots of things to see so nice things for the children, one friend of daughters is bringing her small son with her. Then back for drinks and dinner at DD2 so a nice day planned. Not sure when I will manage to see the abandoned men's tennis, what a match that was!
Good morning all x
Morning all from a very sunny North Leicestershire.
Late this morning as we had an interesting night! Dh came to bed late having watched the tennis, a kitten wandered into our room and then started crying for its mum, who came in and started calling to it to follow her back to the study. Then the people over the Road came home from holiday in a taxi and proceeded to slam all the doors at least twice before yelling their thanks to the driver.
I'm exhausted already.
Good morning from sunny Colchester. Big family bbq here today for no particular reason except that we must make the most of the weather.
Tennis and football on the telly for those who prefer to stay indoors. Must get shredding veg for coleslaw!
