Another beautiful day here in Norfolk too!

There were rooks in our garden this morning. I think its getting too dry for them to find food in the fields.

More painting for DH today and more pottering for me.

Wall to wall sunshine in South Bucks again today.

Our small courtyard garden is too small for rooks. They are supposed to be highly intelligent birds I think Nfk am I right ? We are keeping our two bird baths topped up with water as Mr and Mrs Blackbird like a daily bath.

Off to WI this afternoon.

I'm helping on a course this afternoon in a venue we've never used before so I hope it's not as airless as some we've used.

Just general bits and bobs to do and then a visit to a local garden with the flower club this evening.

Slightly hazy in Kent and still the strong breeze we had yesterday which kept the humidity down. The advantage of living on the coast.
Accompanying DS to a meeting about his UC payments this afternoon. Not looking forward to that.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is cool in South Yorkshire at the moment, and only slightly less breezy than it was yesterday. I’m not sure what we have planned today other than going out to try and find some new camping chairs before we go on holiday. I think DH has plans for us to go out to lunch. Not sure I’m that keen really. Have a good day folks.

Shopping and housework today. I think there's something on the telly tonight ......?.

Am up early to get some ironing done in a cool kitchen ( while it still is cool.)

It seems we all had the same idea about the ironing.
Mr L complained yesterday he was down to one pair of clean chinos ( I did show him where the iron lives)
But he says he has more ‘pressing’ things to do, like cleaning
The car and taking down a small dead tree.He will do anything not to get the iron out.

`Morning to all you sunny G.`N`s........indeed after just the merest gap in the intense heat over our busy weekend it is certainly a full return of the sunshine this morning.
Sadly the 6 drops of rain did nothing to help the browning off of many green areas!

A peaceful day will be nice but I suppose we shall have to take whatever transpires!

Good morning from sunny SE Essex, we have a light breeze this morning.

Off to hairdressers later, going to be hot and sticky (sun shines straight into salon, hope they draw the blinds!!

Brunette, I would rather be in the East Neuk. Much more exciting.
We had plans to spend a few days there, then the builders decided to arrive a month early.
This good weather has hidden benefits. They are rattling through their projects, as there has been no rain.

Good morning from the NE where it remains about 8 to 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the country. It is warm enough to sit out but not sticky at night so sleeping well.

Just in time to say Good morning to Michael and all. There are actually some clouds in the sky today, but there us a beautiful breeze every now and then. Washing going out on the line ASAP. Have renewed car insurance, phoned about possible date for op, emailed a couple of friends, and volunteering this afternoon. Have a good day all
