Has anyone else noticed that parents picking up children from school all come with some sort of (usually sweet) snack to give them as soon as the children come out despite lunch with dessert only having been a couple of hours earlier and tea being an hour later.
There is concern about overweight children at primary schools, yet every mum or dad who was picking up children today had something with them. The school I am referring to is highly sought after in a well off area. When did all this start and is this common practice in other schools?
