I do know the feeling as yes another fool here..........done much the same myself in the past............further to that,may I simply add.........we do not always learn by these mistakes either!!!

Ever picked up and answered the remote control

I wondered why my car wouldn't open today, just started to panic when I realised I was using the remote key for my husband's car.

-oh dear!

Bluebelle I've gone a stage further and actually dialled the numbers on the remote and expected it to ring someone's number!

DH this afernoon , was trying to lock the front door, and wondered why the garage door key wouldn't turn in the lock.

My DSIL thought up a labour-saving way of emptying the dehumidifier in their damp cellar. Instead of carrying the full container upstairs to the kitchen sink, he emptied it into a large bucket next to the dehumidifier....

Many, many years ago, as a young wife, ex dh had invited an American friend to dinner. To my horror, the gray went lumpy, so I decided to put it through a sieve over the sink......no prizes for guessing what happened

There's many a time I've decided to save the water from boiling vegetables to make the gravy for Sunday lunch then promptly drained it straight into the sink.
