We've just had a couple, about our age, come to view our property. They found it on Zoopla, they said. Apparently it's up for rent at £600 a month (it isn't) and it's lovely inside, lots of photos they'd looked at on their computer, it's all updated and refurbished (it isn't). They even showed us a picture of it on their phone, a picture that was clearly taken at least six months ago, because we've had some alterations done which aren't in the photo.
So what do you think I did immediately they'd gone? Yes, of course, I looked on Zoopla. It's not there. We've lived here for longer than Zoopla and Rightmove etc have been listing sold prices, sale histories etc, so there is nothing, no photo or anything, to show.
They seemed a very nice couple, very genuine and couldn't apologise enough for disturbing us.
We are totally mystified
. Any thoughts anyone?
