I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.
FWIW!
I'm now on the email data base of the Buckingham Palace Shop; quite chuffed!
My first catalogue contains images of commemorative
tankards, tea-pots, coffee-pots etc etc.
All look very tasteful with prices ranging from 39GBP to 595GBP.
But there's the rub!
Should I invest in as many as I can afford?
Would my descendants applaud their Great,Great , Great Grandad for his foresight when they see the astronomical prices mentioned on Antique Roadshow, or will the items quickly end up in Sunday morning car-boot markets?
Global entrepreneurs are probably turning out "antique" replicas by the thousand as we speak, thus knocking out the bottom of the market.
As I said; decisions, decisions.!
