As if it isn't enough with the clocks changing!

Played the bongs as part of another programme! But at sort of coming up to bongs time.

No doubt it will be only me that got confuddled , sigh.

DH has decided its tea time, it may well be as the clock says 5.15pm.
But my stomach is still on yesterdays time.?

I think I too would be confuzzled if, instead of using clocks, I went by bongs!?

Situpstraight I use the clock for most things, but have a sort of Pavlovian response to the bongs on Radio 4, in that it is a trigger to take one of my tablets!

phoenix, I wish I could say just the bongs confused me.

I was working in the study on and off throughout the day, thinking I was making good time, would be organised to get dinner on, etc and even had time to sit down with a cuppa and watch a bit of telly before sorting out the meal.

It was at five thirty this evening that I realised it was actually 6.30pm, and only because of a radio news bulletin and a bong! I had forgotten to put forward the clock in the study. I'd been behind all day thinking I'd been really efficient! Doh.

Bongs are MEANT to confuse you. Particularly when full of cannabis.

The Today programme is sometimes an hour wrong, panics me no end. The other day at 12noon the BBC forgot the shipping forecast so I thought I must have the wrong time - they remembered at about 12.10 and gave it then.

The bongs are irrelevant. If you listen on DAB they are quite a noticeable number of seconds out at least. If you listen via Alexa and the internet as I do, it can be almost 2 minutes difference, and two different devices won't match either.
So you can't trust the BBC for time at all
