We have been to a lot of weddings over the years, usualy iinvolving a dinner and dance. The guests are placed at tables of eight or ten people and usually there is a table of old folk -grannies, aunties etc.
A few years ago we were invited to a lovely wedding and as we were seated at our table chatting to folk about our age I looked around and noticed that there didn't seem to be a grannies table -and then I realised we were it!!!
