Hair colour stripper

My friend had a red/purple tint put in at her hairdressers but it didn’t turn out as she had envisaged so after living with it for two weeks she decided to strip it out. She bought a diy kit in Superdrug and next night ended up in A&E on steroids and an overnight in hospital. She looked as if she had gone 10 rounds in a boxing ring. She has had mild reactions to certain facial products in the past but this was awful

I mentioned this to my hairdresser who said that it’s something you shouldn’t attempt yourself and should always be done by a qualified hairdresser.

If she has very long hair and tge colour us only at the bottom why not have it cut instead.

My DD's hairdresser said she wouldn't do it and suggested she did it herself Rosieroe.

She was hoping to keep the length silverlining but it could be the only way.

I’d agree with silverlining a good trim to take off the ends and get her hair slightly styled would give her a boost too.

I did ask my (very good) hairdresser when I went yesterday and she said No, No, No! Definitely not when you are pregnant, even at the bottom because of the mix of chemicals and hormones.
Think a really good cut might be the way to go. Think Kate!

Yes it'll grow back quicker than she thinks. I would never chance it.
