I volunteer as Treasurer for a local branch of a retirement fellowship. This involves some small expenditures which I could claim.
We are fortunate enough not to need to do this but a member has said that I should claim these sums because setting a precedent of not claiming might discourage someone else from volunteering when I cease to hold this position.
What do you think?
