Thought I would let you all know on this forum that just today I've had two calls from someone claiming to be from the TPS telling me that my registration with them is due to expire. I fear that this is just another scam doing the rounds.

Think you're right. Best to ignore.

I ve been with TPS for years but I get more calls than ever at least two to three most days and late evenings too

Yes, I agree, TPS is not very effective. We have got call blocking on our phone so I block numbers when available and also international calls if all the family are in this country. I quite enjoy hearing the click and wish a private message to the caller could be recorded!

Couple of people I've called recently have Call Guardian. Anybody have this and is it worth having?

Yes, Katek, we have call guardian (BT) and it's great. Stops all those cold calls in their tracks. You can set it up to allow numbers you want to be able to come through straight away, and set the call guardian to divert other callers to a caller divert. If they still want to come through, you have the option of accepting the call as it announces who they are, or not taking it. Most of them hang up before it reaches that stage.
