Excitement re Ebay

I am a newby posted a few comments but never a new thread.

I sell a few things on eBay every month, and still get excited if there is a bidding war.

My first listing was for a pushchair foot muff which grandson and grandaughter had used but still in very good condition, I put it up for sale at 99pence + £2.50 postage.
It sold for £15 they could buy a brand new one for that much, I think people's brains go out the window when looking at things on eBay.

What silly item have you sold on eBay or anywhere else that you were shocked about.
PS all money I make from selling goes to buying new clothes for grandchildren from eBay etc.

I bought a Speedo tankini swimsuit which didn't look right on me. It was on a bargain rail on TK Maxx and I sold it on Ebay for £5 more than I'd paid for it.

I’ve sold - and bought - lots and lots on eBay. Biggest thing sold was a BSA Bantam motorbike (1965), and probably the smallest has been handles and castors from a very ancient chest of drawers ?! At the moment I’ve got a couple of jumpers for sale (bought them from eBay, but didn’t like them). So exciting - one jumper is sitting at £2.50!

I bought a dress at M & S Outlet for 4.99, the label was for £95. It was awful on me and I sold it for £40.

I buy clothes off eBay and then relist them if they don't suit - often get more than I paid for them. My feeling is that good photos are attractive and how they are listed is important. I always give full measurements and lots of pics.

It's a great way to clear out what hasn't been worn.

Ages ago I bought a skirt in an M&S sale for about £9. I wore it for a couple of years, then put it on eBay and someone paid £27 for it! My biggest sale was a 1948 Olympic torch which my father had come by. It went to someone in Sweden for £700!

'A Motorbike'. My items are bargain basement waiting for some shampoo to finish and surprise it's up to £25 started at £10.
Think ebaying is so much fun. Yes lots of turnover from my wardrobe and we have just downsized so now have started to list
lots of things. limit to 25 items sell one list another then I can at least find what I have for sale.(mislaid something once).
Always say to DH if I take his photo he's going on eBay.
