Mrs May's haircut

I commented to H last night that she needs a haircut as it looks like a mop. I don't usually pay much attention to such things.

Poor soul, too busy running the country to worry about her hair ?

Too busy thinking 'what on earth is she wearing now?' to notice her hair.

Having seen recently how much M Macron spends on beautifying himself, I think we should be glad that Mrs May seems to be comparatively low maintenance. I've got bad hair hair anyway, so I'd be the last to criticise.

Tbh I always wish I had such good thick hair, but as mcem says, does it matter? It would only matter if it looked unkempt. Think top politicians need to look smart, including hair.

She looks far better with a sharper cut than when she had more of an untidy bob.

She does stand out though and not in a good way. I only vaguely notice that Nicola Sturgeon seems neat and tidy and wears suits, that Angela Merkel looks a little unkempt but not worth commenting on as she seems comfortable. The men all look vaguely boring but neat.

But May! She just needs to blend in a bit more.

I am sure she had a hairdresser on the plane with her.

I thought she needed advice to wear a longer skirt for being filmed descending the steps of a plane!

I'm not a fan of TM, but would stick up for her regarding her appearance. Of course her work is much more important, but yes, she needs to look the part, i.e. professional and smart. I personally think she manages this if nothing else admirably.

I think the current style is a bit heavy on top but then again what do I know about style. She does look smart. Conversely JC could easily pass as a homeless down and out.

If it is what she wants that's fine. It doesn't make any difference to her as a politician. However, I feel her face has changed over this year and looks more puffy so I worry if she is damaging her health. I may not like her politics but wouldn't like her health to suffer. If her face is a little puffy that will change how here hair looks.

Undoubtedly she needs to be careful with her diabetes - stress and tiredness will cause havoc with the healthiest individual, so having a serious illness will no doubt show in her physical appearance. I suppose she thinks it's worth the risk?! Personally I wouldn't but we are all different.

I've always admired her hair, she makes the most of her appearance. (even though I don't like her policies.)

I seem to remember reading the she and other female politicians had some kind of padding inserted in their hair to give more body and make it hold it's shape better..

Yes I read that * tricia* costs squillions apparently, so I won't be having it done any time soon, which is a shame as I could do with a bit of lift.

Perhaps it is sort of growing out and needs re inserting which is the reason for her strange appearance.

Her hair gets shorter every week!

I'd love hair like Theresa's - it's lovely and thick and I really like the colour. I think her present style isn't a good one though... much too reminiscent of a pudding basin.
