I've just spent the best part of 40 minutes on the phone to Samsung 'Support' after my washing machine broke down. The first (female) 'support' agent was almost unintelligible, spoke at a rate of knots and barked out instructions at me as I pressed various buttons on my washing machine.
She insisted she couldn't send out an engineer until I'd carried out these checks. After 15 minutes of these 'checks' and me trying desperately to understand her accent and clipped tones, I'm still kneeling on a hard floor, in front of my machine, phone in one hand trying to understand what 'press M15' means (only 'got' the 'M' bit after numerous requests for her to slow down and speak clearly) only there's nothing on the machine front even vaguely like M15. Then she loses her temper!
Bad move...I asked to speak to a supervisor, none available, but someone would ring me back. No one has naturally.
So I rang them and ??? was presented with the option of rating my call when it was finished. Good! This always means better service as they know they will be rated. Refused to do all the checks as my knees were aching from before. Asked the second (male) support agent if he had a grandmother (he had) how old was she (70) told him I was the same age as his granny and wanted an engineer out please. Again I could barely understand him, but he certainly understood me and I'm just waiting now for the service engineer to call and arrange a time.
