Weird or what?

I sat next to a woman on the bus and we got chatting then things got strange:
We discovered that we both took anti-histamine every day, neither of us ever drank water we didn't like it, we were both claustrophobic, then it got even weirder we were both married in September 1966, both our mothers died in December 1966. We agreed at the end of the journey that we would undoubtedly meet again. It was very strange and God knows what other similarites would have come out if the journey had been longer. So if you are reading this Mary that's another one.

Strange things do happen. I had a doppleganger living half a mile down the road. I enquired about a camera in a shop only to be told "I told you this camera is not available" but I had just arrived. The assistant said I had been in ten minutes earlier asking about the exact camera. The woman's DD once chased after me in the supermarket shouting "mum".
DH's aunts used to tell him that I had walked straight past them in the street when I hadn't been out that day. A lady got on my bus and walked up to me, called me by this other woman's name and asked after my mother. My mother had just died a few days before, I am beginning to wonder whether she gave birth to twins confused

That used to happen to me when I lived in Hull. Whoever she was must have looked so much like me because total strangers would accuse me of ignoring them and would be difficult to convince that I wasn't who they thought I was.

I have no examples but things like this fascinate me.

How fascinating, LouLou, and a shame that you did not arrange to meet again over coffee somewhere. I would have found it difficult to tear myself away!

I hope you will meet again and continue your discussion. Parallel lives are certainly possible.
