Good morning Mick and everyone. Dry here in Lancashire too, yesterday was a lovely sunny day.
The family are all coming for lunch, some of them going to visit great grandma this afternoon, she'll be so confused.
Looking forward to a busy day and then a peaceful evening with the TV.
Hope you all have a good Sunday.

Good morning all!

No idea what the weather is like as it's still dark but it doesn't feel cold.

We has Bertie and Persie overnight and Persie eventually stopped singing at 9pm. Bertie woke up at 5.15 asking if it was breakfast time! It seems a very very long time until they go home! grin

Enjoy your days everyone.

Good morning to all from France. I think dank aptly describes the weather! Cosy in the kitchen though. Not an inch of anything is poking through to encourage me to think of Spring - just had my wellies on for a walk around the garden to check. All in good time, no doubt. smile

Good morning, last night's frost has already melted but it remains a cool 2 degrees.
Quiet day because yesterday turned out to be busier than expected when GC and their parents arrived for the afternoon. The family were off to an astronomy evening of moon watching and it was lovely and clear, ideal conditions for the telescopes.

Good morning from St.Andrews . A lovely blue and lilac sky with fluffy white clouds here. I'm off to liquidise squash soup that I made yesterday , the diet's back on ) Then an afternoon with GC to see Sing ( no sweeties ! )

Morning, folks! Cold and damp here. Clearing a bank before bluebells leaves appear, digging out rushes, wall painting and flapjack making are on my list today. They won't all get done.

Good morning mick and all you early risers!
Looking fine and sunny in my corner of N Bucks.
Wishing you all a pleasant Sunday

Good Morning everyone. Clear and mild with light wind here in SW London. The birds in our garden are in full chirp, competing with the hymns on radio 4's church service just now.
A quiet day planned which includes church, lunch with friends, Sunday papers, and a brisk walk followed by Skype with children and grandchildren in the evening.
Happy Sunday!

Morning All

Quite misty here in Norfolk and very, very still. It's bright though so it looks as if the sun may burn(!) through later.

I hope to go over the DD2s later this morning to get some rocks. She inherited a rockery with her house and doesn't want them. Norfolk doesn't have much in the way of rocks and they cost a fortune and I need some soil retention so I'll hopefully be playing in the garden this afternoon.

When/if DH decides to get up that is.

Good morning from a brightish Colchester. Cold with a pale blue sky.
Sunday lunch at DD1s, no cooking or washing up and home early for feet up in front of TV....bliss!

Greyduster Sun 05-Feb-17 08:59:02

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. I am late this morning. It is cold and dreary in South Yorkshire but dry at the moment. DH will be watching the rugby this afternoon, so I won't have much of his attention, and GS and his parents will be here later for lunch. Can't wait! ?. Have a good day, folks!

ninathenana Sun 05-Feb-17 09:09:26

Morning all.
Bit later today. Not a leaf is moving in the garden and there's a grey blanket of cloud at the moment but I can see the sun behind it so fingers crossed.
Roast beef for lunch and rugby for dessert smile

Good morning to you all, and it is very still here as well, a few spots of rain, but no threatening cloud, so perhaps it will be a fine day. The other half was not feeling well yesterday, so we did not do a bit shop, and missed the post for our son-in-law's birthday on Tuesday, so will have to think of some really good E-Mail for him. Sure he won't mind. Enjoy your days.

Not advertising but M**npig could get a card there in time if you order his morning (I think)

Stansgran Sun 05-Feb-17 09:49:48

Cold here in Durham but clouds seem high in the sky so at least it's light. Birdsong and shoots pushing through.

Belated Good Morning to Michael and all GNers from N London. Grey cloud but dry here, very still and very cold again. Lazy day ahead thankfully as the water board started digging up the road to mend a leak just before 6pm last night and were still there at 11.30pm! It's only taken them 8 days to get here grin

annodomini Sun 05-Feb-17 10:50:46

Good morning. It's bright and cold here in Cheshire. The forecast is for cold weather again, but the snowdrops are well advanced and spring starts next month...allegedly. sunshine

Elrel Sun 05-Feb-17 11:58:53

Anyone do 10k Central London Winter Run this morning? DD was not looking forward to it!

Elrel Sun 05-Feb-17 12:00:29

London 10k Winter Run this morning DD was not looking forward to it!!

Elrel Sun 05-Feb-17 12:56:37

DD came back pleased, time ok but for the first time she'd done 8k running without having to stop or walk. I'm feeling I should get new knee out a bit more! I think sugar free February is becoming automatic which is good!
