Good morning Mick and everybody. To my way of thinking this is still silly o clock but we need to be out early for DH's INR check and then his blood transfusion.
Dark outside (!) but seems dry and a bit windy. Birds are noisy, bless them! ?
Morning Mick and MawBroon and everyone.
It's actually half light here in N Kent. It's dry and we don't have the howling wind that is forecast. .....yet !
Morning Mick, Maw, everyone.
North Leicestershire is fairly quiet this morning but we are forecast a windy day.
Hope all goes well today Maw. I hope your flea bites are better!
After years of getting up early when all the children were at home, our body clocks rarely allow us to sleep past six am. But, after two cups of tea, a catch up on social media and some Breakfast News we are rarely downstairs before 9!!
I had a lovely catchup with another GN yesterday.
Today, we are looking for a carpet for the study then I'm off to visit mum who appears to have still not had any medication despite a gp visit on Monday
Morning, nina!!
Morning All
I just walked down to the compost heap - in just my dressing gown! Norfolk isn't too cold! The birds are singing and the sky is only moderately cloudy ( although they have streaked frilly edges so it must be windy up there). Definitely a feel of spring in the air!
Off to art class this morning, then house hunting with a friend this afternoon. She wants to move to our town, but the houses she likes are being snapped up really quickly - only the new build ones are sticking.
Morning Mick, Kitty, Nina and all you early risers.
Off to Sussex to celebrate our 4 year old's birthday. He is having a Paw Patrol Party !
Clear and dry in Thames Valley.
Good morning to all from France. Just finished a late breakfast, and hoping it doesn't rain before walking. Grey and damp, with a nippy wind. Looking at paint colours this afternoon, for the old and tatty pine chests of drawers I have in the back kitchen.
Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A lovely clear sky, but frosty, in South Yorkshire. I may do a bit of garden tidying if it warms up a bit today. And clean some windows
! Whatever you're doing, have a good day folks.
Good morning everyone.
We had a wild night in the Tyne Valley. When I go for my hair cut later, it will be interesting to see if there's been any damage. It's bright and partly cloudy now, and slightly less windy.
Enjoy your Friday everyone.
Good morning from a dry and mild north east, 10 degrees and no sign of the gales we were promised.
Morning All. Fairly quiet in our corner of Somerset, grey and overcast but no wind or rain although both are forecast for later. Hope Friday is kind to everyone.
Morning all. Quite bright and light. Touch of red in the sky. Glad I wasn't on the Dawlish to Devon line!very still here in Durham and lots of birdsong.
Good morning to you all, we have a cold clear blue sky, but not sure what it is like outside, leave that for later. Saw the Parkinson nurse for the o.h. yesterday, and she was full of encouragment, he
is at the e is at the very early stages, so there is not very much can done, just the frustration which is not being helped by the weather at the moment, he feels the cold quite badly. Still here though. Enjoy your days.
Good morning from sunny Colchester. Mild here too.
Quiet day planned as DH starts a night shift tonight.
Good Morning everyone. Less grey but blustery here.
Hope all goes well for your DH today, Maw.
Off to The Wallace Collection for private study of some of their furniture, then lunch with friend.
Lovely temporary lodger, aged 19, leaving this morning to her more permanent accommodation. A pleasure to have been able to help her for a few weeks post Christmas.
A pleasant Friday to you all!

A bit of shopping to do this morning and DGS after school for a few hours, so today will fly by.I seem to want to do less housework every year ( hope it isn't the start of a slippery slope.)
Good morning. The wind came to Lancashire yesterday afternoon but all calm and bright now.
Meeting a friend for lunch today then 2 DGC coming to stay over.
Hope your Mum is better when you visit today kitty. My Mum is on her 2nd lot of antibiotics and seemed a little better yesterday. The GP asked her if she wanted to go to hospital and she said no.
Have a good day everyone.
Morning, folks! I've got a February thing: do some job in the garden every day throughout February. This is much more of a big deal than you might think! My garden wants to be a wild forest and just keeping it to a semblance of control is quite a task. Hard work but fun.
Minibags is still off school but I haven't heard her coughing this morning so I guess she's still asleep, hopefully getting over it finally.
Good morning all. Sunny here in Chesire. For now. The wind and 30 yr old rusted hinges has taken the door off the outside gas meter box. I am about to venture out to gaffer tape it back and ring the gas board to get a replacement.
I am watching some carrot cake muffins in the oven so I can't stray far from home.
Morning everyone it was blue skies earlier here in Yorkshire but turning grey now . We are home today we have been out every day this week so relaxing today , maybe a all later . Nellie your muffins sound good .
Canterbury is beautifully mild and sunny. Wind starting to come up. Makes one realise that spring can't be far behind... [unless we get another cold snap!]
