Candle Wax

Has anyone experience of removing candle wax from man-made fibre tablecloth ? DS over- enthusiastically blowing ! I rubbed with ice cubes when dry and scraped most off, but wondering if a hot wash is best ? Advice appreciated.

A medium hot iron over brown paper used to be the advice - I expect you could use kitchen roll instead.

Stain Devils specifically for candle wax. Really does work. Not the general stain remover.......

Thanks for replies, I will try the iron today and look for Stain Devil if necessary
