Another Senior Moment !

I have often admired ladies who wear a pretty scarf to brighten up a plain top. Having tried in front of the mirror , I now know I am hopeless at trying to tie a scarf . So, saw an advert for a pack of three pretty scarves in a magazine. The advert said they were circular and known as a snood, however the photograph showed them tied in a tasteful circle around the models neck. So, I thought this is for me. Well youv'e guessed it,when they came they were flat squares and nothing like the advert. Apparently you have to play around with them yourself until you get the desired shape. What an idiot !. However my friend told me today that you can get a tutorial on You Tube on how to tie a scarf. So I will get there eventually. Feel a right idiot. Another senior moment!

Not at all, have a friend who is always faultlessly draped in scarves. I look like a bag lady crossed with Nora Batty ?

Me too grannylyn, just have to accept I'm not the drapey sort . I do envy people who can jazz up a plain outfit with a lovely scarf though.

Not so daft, I don't think. If you Google snood you find lots of circular items, mostly knitted.
