Cold and clear here in Sussex.

Just finished 5 day stint helping look after the GSs, so after the school run for the eldest packing up and driving back home on that awful M25. Once home and unpacked we will go into a darkened room to start rage recovery process

It's a cold start in North Leicestershire. Today it's the first day of DH's retirement and we are going away for the night. He loves modern jazz so we are going to see one of his current favourites in Cambridge - the things I do for him!

Good morning from a brightening Colchester. Housework and garden tidy today. Looks like yesterday's biting wind has gone.

It promises to be a dry sunny day in North Kent which is good as my brother is moving out of our family home where he's lived since mum died. It's now been sold. It's the only home I knew until I married.

Good morning! Do others have a strange colour in their sky this morning? A sort of blue tint? Most abnormal, I dare say the clouds will cover it soon
Domestic/chauffeuring day, DH's blood result means he can go another week without a transfusion so I shall be taking him to the Asthma clinic instead. Then he wants a haircut , I had a haircut yesterday and all I can say is thank goodness we have another 4 weeks to go so that it can grow a bit!!
Pleasant day to all, and safe driving especially on my unfavourite M way,( the 25 raises my stress levels more than my other 2 "regulars" the M1 or 6)

Had news that a friend has passed away and the funeral is today, we had known each other for fifty years.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dry but grey and very cold in South Yorkshire this morning. I will go into town and have a look at the Great Sheffield Art Show today. Over a thousand pictures and sculptures by amateur and semi professional artists and the standard in the past has been astonishingly high. Also demonstrations by professional artists. Have a good day, whatever you are doing. Hope your DH enjoys his day, kitty, and many enjoyable days to come!

Boy it's cold in the Tyne Valley. -6°c in my garden but the sun is shining. Christmas shopping finished yesterday. Now only DH to buy for, and I know what to get him.

A bright and very frosty start In Stockport.
Enjoy your night away kitty. I may look for a new oven over the weekend, mine is past its best but I may have to cook more and not less which is what I am planning.

Blue sky and clear and sunny here in Oxfordshire (no frost, but cold).Plumber here doing work this week, so trying to stay out of his way, but have to be around as he needs constant tea and biscuit refuelling.DH then joins in with the tea and biscuit ritual and they 'man chat' fir so long that am doubtful the job will get done by Saturday.
