It is cold but dry in North Leicestershire - a blessing as the river is rising. Sainsbury's and a visit to mum today for me.

It is a momentous day in our house as DH sees his last two patients ever after almost 50 years!

Glad your appointment went well Mick, we have DH's weekly blood test at the hospital today, I think this Hb result will be acceptable, he has been much more with it this week.

Had a lovely visit to Mum with 3 year old GD yesterday although Mum couldn't remember who she was. We did a birthday cake and blew out candles.

Good morning all sunny and cold in Cheshire but so far the sky is bright.

It is cold, clear and frosty this morning. In about half an hour DH and I are catching the bus to go Christmas shopping in Newcastle. He wants to see Fenwick's window. He's just a big kid at heart. I still need one onesies for DGS 2. After that we will just please ourselves what we do and see.
