A soggy cat has just landed on my bed so I imagine it is (or has recently!) been raining. Both dgc seemed to spend all night taking it in turns to cough so I'm somewhat bleary eyed.

We have a really exciting day in prospect! Out for lunch then to watch 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'!

Rain overnight but dry at the moment in Lancashire. It was a shame it rained on the Olympic Parade yesterday as it was sunny in the afternoon in Manchester. They all looked so happy though. I was doing the tour at media city it was interesting and fun. I would recommend it.
Visiting Mum today.

It is raining here in Staffordshire Moorlands, and so hard rain is dripping through the roof besides me. We live in a single level old cottage but this is a new roof or was 25 years ago! Looking on the brightside the Azeala I moved yesterday will be well watered in.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A dull day in South Yorkshire. Oi/c weather has been down to make the coffee and tells me it has been raining. He has dentist this morning and then, if yesterday's efforts with ceiling painting have dried properly, we will put the furniture back in the conservatory. I have a large pile of ironing to do, so,all in all, an exciting day! Enjoy yours, whatever you are doing.

Dull and wet in Stockport. Good news on my eyes, they are responding well and more scans in 12 weeks.
Out for lunch today to celebrate the 75th birthday of a friend which actually was on Aug 2nd buy this is my first opportunity. My S is here to keep an eye on H.

Dry with high cloud at the moment. Still very mild. I've changed to the winter duvet - big mistake as sooooo hot.

Listening to weather man this morning on radio - he is forecasting a cold dry winter. Wonderful!!!!!

Man coming this morning - first look at the kitchen. Arm and leg stuff no doubt.

Morning everyone, it grey and cloudy with the occasional raindrop here in Letchworth this morning. Off to my first ever Pilates class this morning with my sister and niece, followed by a few laps in the local swimming pool. Hopefully the weather will have improved by the time i get back as still have some wallflowers to put into the garden.

Good morning to you all, overslept this morning, but slept really well, so feel a lot better today than I have done, thank goodness. Even the other half says he feels 'not too bad' instead of relating all the aches and pains! Good news about your eyes annsixty will 12 weeks bring us up to Christmas dare I say? Enjoy your days.

We had a superb apricot streaked sunrise which deteriorated quickly into a steady rain which looks like it's set in for the day.

Off to a friends for coffee in a few minutes. I haven't seen her for a proper chat for quite a while so we may go out for lunch.
