Morning Mick, morning All

I hope your boiler is sorted and working fine again, it's surprising how easily we take these things for granted now. I remember, when I was a girl ......!

It's dry, bright and damp in North Norfolk. The forecast is good for the rest of the week - but that doesn't mean much!

Got DGS and DGDog for the day so DS can study for his exam tomorrow. Due to commitments by his boss whose invigilating he has only two hours instead of three to do the exam so he's looking at it as a trial run and will pay to re-sit next year, Do mum's ever stop feeling the surge of protective anger over things like this? He's a grown man for Pete's sake!

Good morning Mick, good morning all! Hope you get your water back before too long, Mick

There is a sort of orange glow through the mist in North Leicestershire - not sure what that means.

Enjoy your Tuesdays everyone.sunshine

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is out again in South Yorkshire. Domestics this morning and I am going to make some soup if I have time before the school run this afternoon. Have a good day, folks!

Another pink and orange morning while the sun was still under the clouds. A good sunny day is forecast. My back prevented me from painting walls yesterday; will have to see how we go today.

Happy days, dudes.

Good morning everyone.
It's a bright sunny morning in Tynedale, after a beautiful pink sunrise. I am sitting with a cup of tea waiting for a joiner to come and take a bit off the bottom of my living room door. I am assured that he will be here by 08:00, well, we'll see.
Have a happy Tuesday everyone.

Good morning, another sunny morning and the fog is burning off but I can hear the foghorn so it must still be on the coast. No autumn colours on the trees yet.

Good morning all.
A later start for me this morning, after another bad night I finally dozed off and slept until 8:40,now I will be confused all day. Going to see a friend after lunch, she had a minor stroke about 10 days ago and is feeling very fragile emotionally.

Morning

Bit late this morning as overslept, making up for lost time after grotty nights with flu jab. Back to normal today.

No sign of trees changing here either. Is it late this year? We have one of those vines that turn a glorious red for about 3 weeks - still green.

Going to start the yearly cull of the bamboo today. Anyone want some bamboo canes -free!!!

Greyduster Tue 04-Oct-16 11:29:52

I used to lerrrve cutting back my bamboos - not!! They seemed such a good idea at the time!

Trees beginning to look decidely autumnal here. Sycamores in particular look wind scorched: curly dry leaves even though there has been masses of rain. We did have some ferocious winds a week or so ago. I presume that's what it is anyway, rather than a disease.

Beautiful day here and it looks like we are indeed having a late Autumn. I haven't had to pull up my begonias yet. They are still in flower.
