Had a Groupon for afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie.
Arrived at 14:00 to be told they had sold out. Come back another day ( they don't take bookings.)
Went to Starbucks for a toastie ( well we'd missed lunch to enjoy early afternoon tea).... Only to get served the worst toastie in the world ( see pic) !
THEN the damn pay machine in the multi-storey wouldn't read our ticket. So Grampy had to climb up to all the other floors to try and pay. We ended up having to call the little man. He gave us a stern lecture on storing your ticket near your mobile phone despite me saying I didn't have my phone with me !M
And then after faffing around for 20 mins to find the little man he had the nerve to charge us for the parking including faffing time ....which took us to the next payment level!!!
I am retiring to bed in case the world is about to end!
