My elderly neighbour, who is fed up this week due to the amount of machinery and lorries in our cul-de-sac for the pavements to be re-laid, has suggested that our CUL-DE-SAC should be made into a one way road!

I was once going for a wire for a plate for my friend. She is Irish. A circular plate. She measured it both ways to make sure it was 8" equal? I didn't let it go for ages. grin
