I'm a little sad today that although both our daughters posted some lovely words about their Dad this morning neither have sent a card or visited.
He doesn't ask for much. Not expecting a present and totally understanding if they can't fit a visit in ( although they seem to manage ok when they want to :-( ). But a card? Or even a phone call ?
Their Dad has always been there for them. Ready to lend a hand. We have an excellent relationship with them, their husbands, grandchildren and parents in law.
I've noticed of late they can be a hit and miss about a birthday card for us too. I'm positive if I missed any of the memorable days I'd hear about it pretty darn quick.
So - is this what you all experience? A text or FB message instead of popping a card in the post?
Am I being unreasonable? If so - happy to hear it !! ( I might not agree though
)
If you were given £10k to spend on your bedroom , what would you buy?
