Morning Mick, morning all.

It's a glorious start in North Leicestershire. I've got a library meeting here this afternoon so I think we might sit in the garden. So, I'd better wipe the table over!

Enjoy your Mondays everyone! sunshine

Good morning everyone.
It's a beautiful start to the day in Tynedale. BBC weather app says high of 22°c. That's my kind of temperature. Gone back to bed as I had practically no sleep due to the heat and hot flushes! Just going to relax when I get up.
Have a great day everyone.

really warm but breezy here on the south coast ...think I will be sitting in the shade today as I look like a relative of Rudolph "".?

Morning all.
It can't decide what it's doing in N Kent. The sun pops out and goes again.
Nothing planned. Enjoy your day.

Good morning to you all, yes another fine morning here too, a little hazy, but promises to do better. Had a lovely day yesterday, doing bits and pieces in the garden, will probably do the same today. Enjoy your days.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is already blazing here in South Yorkshire. It was nice to be out walking in it yesterday. Woods and fields looked so green and pristine in the sunshine and the crops are coming on apace. But today, before we do the school run, I am dragging DH off to buy some decent shorts as I am sick of him looking like Sanders of the b****y River! Have a good day folks.

Good morning everyone from gorgeously warm and sunny West Berkshire - heavenly weather and a wonderful time to be retired!

Off on hols next Saturday for three weeks - never been known before - and no house sitters this year as we are taking the dogs with us! Any advice about garden welfare please?

I read the other day that if you cut off all the flower buds before you go the plants will compensate by the time you return. Might this be the same for roses that only flower once does anyone know?

Happy Mondays to all. smile

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another beautiful day here. I have had a fasting blood test this morning as part of my five yearly MOT. I have discovered that my blood pressure is high so today is the first day of a more healthy diet and exercise!

Greyduster Mon 06-Jun-16 10:29:35

That sounds a bit drastic Gdn; don't know whether I'd have the courage ?!!

Badenkate Mon 06-Jun-16 16:29:54

They don't do fasting blood tests here any more Pittcity. I was told that it didn't seem to make any difference to the readings.
