Eye drops (hopefully...)

Just been diagnosed with conjunctivitis in both eyes and was prescribed eye drops. DH kindly offered to put them in for me. Whilst doing so he was musing that if this was in a murder mystery novel by someone like Karen Slaughter, someone would have substituted the drops for acid or suchlike.

I'm really looking forward to the next dose now!

Why not put them in yourself just to be safe lol. I regularly use eye drops to moisten my eyes, it's quite easy and I rarely miss.

I could not let someone else put in eye drops for me.
DD used to have to have eye drops for hay fever, when she was very little I had a job to keep her still enough; she learnt to do her own by the age of about 5!

Anyway, acid drops in the eyes probably wouldn't kill you, although they would probably blind you! shock

Gawd, NonnaW, your DH's sense of humour sounds like my 'im indoors'. We were cleaning out the coal cellar one day (we know how to enjoy ourselves) when I turned round with arms full of mucky old cardboard and the like to find him standing wielding a rusty old axe above my head. Perhaps it wasn't a joke, perhaps he genuinely wanted to give me a heart attack.... grin
