I was reading the other day about what makes us grandparents happy. The researcher claimed that although grandchildren bring us joy, it's actually having a life of our own that makes us happy. By that they meant our own friends, hobbies, activities, holidays and interests, outside of the grandchildren.
I can definitely relate to that. What do other Gransnetters think?
Locked room for breakables when grandkids stay?
Daughter not allowed to know new baby’s name until she visits him
What was directly across the road from the school you went to?
